Part I: FREE CRAP!
Well, FlowerPower is slowly dying.
Which means it's time for... FLOWERPOWER MK2!
I'll be recycling a lot of the old FlowerPower guts into my N-N-N-Nephew's computer, but I've got some parts that will be free to an interested home.
All the equipment is 4 years old, but hasn't been abused or overclocked.
So, you want, I'll even provide ground shipping anywhere in the US. I'll do anywhere in the world if y'all fill out the customs paperwork.
The List:
Asus A8E-N MB - This is actually why I'm upgrading. The chipset cooler fan is slowly crapping out (and Asus can't be bothered to keep the thing in stock), and the on-board Ethernet went south. However, if you want to play with it (maybe replace the cooler fan with a heat-pipe system if you're feeling adventureous), it's yours.
Athlon 64 X2 Socket 939 CPU - Includes stock fan. It's not the fastest 939 on the market, but it's not the slowest either (I can't remember the speed - I think it's a '4400+'). Since they don't make Socket 939 MBs anymore, I really don't need this.
4GB of DDR-400 RAM - 2 gig of this is about a month old, as I upgraded to run Win7.
If you want this, let me know by the middle of next week, when the new equipment comes in.
